Burn your money

Wow, I’m actually updating faster than I thought I would. This feels…odd ヽ(゜▽、゜)ノ

Anyway, aside from my university’s hectic schedule of assignments – not to mention, the crying assignments piling up, calling my name and the homework I’ve decided to re-do because they’re messy like shit and I hate looking at my ugly works – and the lack of sleep I received (which, by the way, just turned me into an idiotic looking panda with dreadful eye-bags), I think I have developed an interest in shoe shopping. But since I am a very picky person, “any shoes” is not going to work on me. Teens these days love wearing heels, don’t they? Those… thin, long heels stuff and well, that’s not my forte. Definitely not. I’m still in love and will forever be in love with sneakers – yes, Converse and Vans, I’m starring at both of you and your price tags. It kind of surprises me sometimes to see kids younger than my age are walking around malls in heels which are usually taller than what I’m capable of handling ( ̄Д ̄;; But of course, I’m not saying they’re wrong or anything; who am I to judge anyway? Shrug.

Besides sneakers, I’ve been in love with boots. The other day, I entered LINEA with my mom and we saw this really cool, simple pair of boots which costs a million (IDR currency). I could have sworn my eyes were bawling out or at the very least, almost. It was a very, very simple boots – no crazy pattern, no bizarre additions, no nothing. Only the color of perfect, perfect hazel and it costs a friggin million. Man, did I drool in the store lol. There was another one in Zara though and it costs a million too. What’s with boots being so darn expensive, seriously? (T▽T;) Because the boots I saw in Marks & Spencer didn’t even reached a million! Facepalm, bro.

Nonetheless, I was elated since I got this pair of wedges for myself:

Yeah, I know. I just said I don’t wear heels, didn’t I? Correction. Let me make it more specific. I don’t mind wearing wedges heels/shoes/sandals because I can walk in them. But ugh, I’m not gonna try wearing pumps or platform pumps or whatever you call that – really, I can’t differentiate types of shoes! Deal with it, lol. Bought that blue wedges from Charles & Keith and honestly, I’ve been wanting to buy this ever since I saw it from behind the glass display haha. Talk about the feminine side of me, eh. Not that I have grown into a girly girl type; I still love flip flops and sneakers best! It’s just that I have to learn how to at least wear wedges for my own sake, my own gender pfftt… But no, never those sandals with thin, tall heels ugh they’re scary, dude.

Superhero stuff is definitely my thing! Was actually looking for a Batman hoodie since he’s my favorite in DC but yeah, the store only had Superman in stock. It’s not even M-sized, it’s L which is sorta kinda too big for me? The M-sized was of black-red color and I dislike it. Superman’s color is red and blue and I will not change that into black and red. It’s a disgrace! Lol kidding. Whatever though, a sweatshirt hoodie looks better when it’s big and loose anyway. チョキ

Also bought this from Marks & Spencer! Actually, I still have the lavender moisturising hand & body lotion but I don’t like it very much. It’s sticky, probably stickier than my old Marks & Spencer white peach & almond hand and body lotion. The body butter, though quite sticky as well, makes me happier. Plus, the combination of cocoa and nut fragrance ラブラブThe substance is quite sticky to the point where one could have mistaken it for a body scrub.

Marks & Spencer, what have you done to me, I wonder. (。>0<。) I don’t normally buy biscuits or snacks – heck, I’m not even a biscuit person unlike my mom. Nonetheless, for some reason, there’s just something about Marks & Spencer’s food that makes me go, “I wanna try this they look yummy!” べーっだ! It’s such a guilty pleasure haha. I swear the blueberry one is so damn good! グッド! It’s sweet but man, wasn’t it awesome. Butter Scottish one was good too although it’s kind of..too sweet for my taste hence I’d rather eat the blueberry one again. Haven’t tried the Dutch Shortcake and dark chocolate ones though. It won’t be long before they’re ripped open though にひひ

Believe it or not, that is only my second Japanese album. The first one was MUCC’s. I was literally jumping like a mad man when I saw AKB48′s album on display because it’s really, really difficult to find music store(s) that sell Japanese albums in here. Most of them are Koreans, ugh. しょぼん And since I don’t have paypal and am not allowed to buy anything online, I barely have any Japanese/Jpop albums and whatnot. I was torn between buying AKB48′s and The Script’s album which has their newest single “Hall of Fame” featuring Will.I.Am. Then again, I realize how I can easily find western song albums here like everywhere but not Japanese song albums so yeah. Oh and yeah, try listening to “Hall of Fame” – it’s an amazing song with great lyrics that I can totally relate. It’s been on repeat in my iTunes since I don’t know when (≧▽≦)

On another hand, I bought two iPhone cases online yay! (this one was allowed because the online transaction was done with people living in this country so yeah)

*Team GB isn’t nonsense like those team Jacob or Edward. You can try googling it :)

And uh-oh, new books. I will never forget my addiction:

Pseudonymous Bosch’s The Name of This Book Is Secret and J.K.Rowling‘s new masterpice, The Casual Vacancy! I finally, finally found Bosch’s book! I was giggling and had this crazy, Cheshire-wide smile on my face when I found it in Kinokuniya. I’m currently reading it though so Casual Vacancy will have to wait. Ah,that reminds me. I still have Jodi Picoult’s House Rules waiting for me. 得意げ I really should stop buying books before finishing the ones I have but I can’t help it! It’s an addiction – besides drinking Starbucks – that will never cease. Ah well, people always tell me, “you can read ebooks!” but you see, if you are a true bookworm, reading a digital copy is not the same as reading the original hard copy where you can feel and smell the papers. It’s just that exciting.

Oh man, I need to stop spending money on so much. I have asked dad to spend so much for me this year lol.

Moving on, to end this lengthy post; here, take a look at a salamander sketch I drew in design materials class today:

It’s not done yet though. The main purpose isn’t a sketch; I’ll just post a picture once I’ve finished the complete assignment haha. My classmate was like, “oh my god, ew is that a lizard? It’s so disgusting! Why would you draw something like that!?” Ugh, excuse me, I like amphibians and it’s not a friggin lizard! It’s a salamander for nature’s sake! And amphibians are not disgusting むっ How dare she. I like the fact that everyone was drawing animals like dogs, birds or other things that are cliche while I’m doing something “weird” and quite abnormal aka an amphibian. Sure, amphibians may be all…slime and stuff but they are not disgusting! Lol. I was offended, a little. Salamander is one of my favorite animals and I’m interested in amphibians. Yeah, call me weird or whatever, everyone does that haha.

P.S: watched THE RAVEN and although, dad didn’t like it because he doesn’t understand the beauty of thriller, mystery movies with good plots discussing about Edgar Allan Poe’s works, I like the movie. I enjoyed it although I hope it didn’t have to end that way. Will probably write a review about it on Inks & Papers.

P.P.S: Taylor Swift’s Red album has amazing songs! I personally prefer her songs a lot more now compared to her old ones. RED has good, poetic-like lyrics 音譜 I’ll probably buy her album, who knows…
